Heading into the annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference, THE OBSERVER describes Healthe and its pioneering Eyesafe HEV blue light filtration technology as a “driving force in the crusade against the biggest health crisis of the digital era”
EDEN PRARIE, Minn. – Jan. 7, 2019 – Healthe, a pioneering eye health company that develops products and technology to block ultra-violet and high-energy visible blue light today announced that it was selected by THE OBSERVER as one of the nation’s hottest digital health companies. The list, published today, focuses on non-coastal start-ups from the Midwest, Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions that are poised to be among the most sought-after among investors at next week’s 37th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Investment Conference.
Occupying the #5 spot on the list, Healthe and its patented Eyesafe technology is quickly becoming the industry standard for eye protection from digital screens. Healthe has partnered with eye doctors to develop technologies and industry standards for electronic displays. Together TUV Rheinland and Healthe created the RPF or Retina Protection Factor Standard, providing an easy to understand rating method for blue light emission. Industry leaders including ZAGG, Dell and others have partnered with Healthe to effectively manage the blue light spectrum.
“We are honored to part of this esteemed group of companies from across the country who are doing so many amazing things in the health sector,” said Justin Barrett, co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthe. “We feel privileged to have been selected by the Observer’s list of impaneled health experts, and we feel this placement will give us added momentum as we head into an important week in San Francisco at JP Morgan but also in Las Vegas at CES where we will be launching our educational campaign on the dangers of HEV blue light in partnership with Dell.”
